Could you believe it? Neither could I. But seriously there's going to be more 100% serious reviews on this blog and they start now with one of my most loved games, "Far Cry 3". Yep that means this review is for those people who are a whole two years late to the party. Far Cry 3 starts you off with a great tutorial, to bad you wont use half of the information later in the game, as for location your somewhere in the India ocean, on an island filled with drugged up junkies and psychotic 'pirates' which is just about as original as a game can get.
The story of the game is at times hard to follow but if you put in the effort to try and stay tuned with it you wont be regretting anything. As for the plain way to say the whole story in a bundle, rescue your friends from the baddies.
Moving onto the soundtrack, the game features hip-hop, dub step, retro, classical and dance, a weird combination right? You would think that would never work but it all aligns so well with whats happening. A+
Ohhh the dreaded part of any Far Cry 3 review, the character model. In the game you play as Jason who you start imagining to be this tattooed up athlete, that is until you realize that he is one of the supporting cast for Jersey Shore, the man obviously brimmed up with fake tan and steroids. We'll call him a behemoth at best but alas we cannot have the great game without Jason so my advice just don't open too many menus.
