Fifa fifteen is everything you think it would be, a soccer simulator and gambling platform. Like the last game you can be one of two types of FIFA players, the play who plays the game offline with friends or the player who plays ultimate teams. In other words you can gamble or not gamble.
Apart form that the only thing improving the game from the last is smoother controls and 'better' graphics.
When I describe the graphics as 'better' I don't in any way mean that they are bad but more saying that it would probably take you at least ten seconds of thinking to tell FIFA 15 from FIFA 14. But if we look aside from that the game has probably some of the best graphics we've seen all year.(Maybe the EA budget helped?) A side from that you could say that the game is moderately bug free. Moderately bug free probably isn't good enough for a title that is this hyped in my opinion though. if you think about it that's really bad for a game with this budget to be having as many bugs and glitches as it does. But I think people look past that a tad too much.
Bad things yo. As a starter it's the EA cash grab, pay to win theme. Some could say that the game wouldn't be the same without pay to win implements which is true but I definitely think if EA wasn't EA and didn't get into that business the series could of been a lot better.... maybe? That brings me to my next point, which is the game leeching off of the popularity of soccer. By which I mean that when famous people who follow soccer see this game they automatically like it, and when those people have millions of subscribers on YouTube and make their viewers want to play this game even though it doesn't deserve all of this attention my eyes just water up.
All in all that makes FIFA 15 a moderately good game that has been just too hyped up, with too big of an audience and too big of a budget for its own good. AKA the unwanted little brother of a good game series called the "Dragging out the series for cash grab purposes game"(Original title by Jesse Mason) To its credit I must say that FIFA is still a good game, it's just not a great game and doesn't deserve the hype train that it has been placed on. (All of this is in my opinion and if you love FIFA great, but i'll keep loving the game's I love and you can keep loving the games you love)
T for The Cristiano Ronaldo school of acting.
