The Crew was developed by Ivory Tower and was co-developed and published by Ubisoft. The Crew is an open world online racing game. In the single player game you play as Alex Taylor as he tries his luck at infiltrating several criminal groups. the online is a bunch of races and side quests that you can do with your friends, with a lot of customization an other jazz.
The game itself looks really beautiful with not too many glitches or bugs( I would accredit this to the postponed release date) The cars in the game probably drive slightly too well to be real but in some aspects that's actually pretty nice. To all you other gaming companies that doesn't mean you should make a game where cars can fly and do back flips. Apart from that there is well designed friend-linking and customization systems, plus the servers have been holding well so far!
Oh o, its time for the downsides. First and foremost when starting off I had problems with learning some of the game mechanics and it all seemed a tad overwhelming which is fine once you get into it. The other major problem is the handling(which is fixable) to start off with the default settings leave you with a very strange and quirky driving style but you can change this via settings which makes the game a lot more enjoyable.
Overall The Crew is a high intensity thrilling game, with a very nice looking world, interactive multiplayer and a substantial amount of interesting and diverse side quest's. The only bad side of the game is the learning factor when you first start off. But as I said once you get past changing your settings and learning the game The Crew will be one of the best experiences of your gaming life.
