Game of Thrones the Game

Telltale's back at it again with their newest title Game of Thrones. The episode that you being in is The Red Wedding where you start off as the squire for Lord Forrester, whom is Lord of house Forrester. Once further into the episode you start to switch  between a few characters rapidly. The way the game flows like other Telltale games weighs highly upon the decisions you make while playing.

The game has a nice match of quick-time events and dialogue, I just wish that whatever thing you chose to say was what you actually said without any extra lines. Makes the game kind of confusing when trying to figure out which path will and will not get you killed. AI is fine since there isn't to much real game-play. Telltale has adopted its own art style but I think they should've changed it up a little bit to suit the GoT world better.

Moving on to cons of Game of Thrones, firstly unless you want one of the biggest spoilers ever you have to have read the books or watched the show, secondly there isn't much else to the game other then quite simple quick-time events which can seem boring and unappealing to a wide variety of people. And thirdly they implemented the every choice matters system but not every choice matters, as well it doesn't matter if you talk or find everything which is a bit disappointing.

Overall Game of Thrones is a very hit or miss game, it's easier to hit if you're a fan of the series but if you're not it's a bit of a throw off. Apart from that everything else seems to be up to Telltale standard but what is really appealing is the focus on in-depth characters, Telltale has made characters that you actually care for and making you feel like whatever you do in the game reflects on you in the real world.
