Top Terrible Tips for Picking an Anime

According to my last post a lot of you seem like the anime so I give you now the things I always do when choosing which anime series to watch.

1. Don't too specific e.g don't just look for an anime where Japan is being invaded by Brittania but look for Japan being invaded or over run by any nation.
2.When you think you see an anime that looks alright always watch at least to fifth episode before making your final judgement.
3. Don't disregard an anime just because of it's art style. Even if an anime looks bad still give it a few episodes before you completely forget about it.
4. If an anime is subbed only either learn the language or get your reading pants on because you're not leaving that one in  the dust.
4.5. Subbed is better anyways,
5. Asking your friends or on the forums is fine but don't expect to like what other people like, be yourself.
6. Read the blurb but don't pay too much attention to it because most of the time it is inaccurate and irrelevant.
7. An add on to don't be too specific is think about anime as if it were in two genres PG 13 and not PG 13 so you cant miss out on anything just because it isn't a action, adventure anime.
8. If you plan on researching an anime before watching it, don't. you'll have a much better time without the spoilers and reviews.
9. Don't listen to the reviews too much because if you're watching something and you think you like it a lot but then you read something saying they gave it a 2/5 most of the time that's going to wreck your experience.
9.5. Think of reviews as people who finished the series just promoting how good or bad it is to one another, I would use another way to describe it(a certain circle) but I don't think that's really something I wanna include on my blog. Or is it?
10. Consider all names when picking an anime, don't just look at anime's with titles that are English words, also take notice to those without any English in them.

There you go guys, ten or so tips that you should go through when choosing an anime to watch.

P.S If you don't know what site to use AnimeLab and Crunchyroll would probably be my top two suggestions.
